For nearly two decades, Mitchell has worked to help others determine the next steps in their career and/or academic pathways through her experiences in higher education and vocational rehabilitation. She teaches, motivates and directs a diverse population of clients.

Using her diverse skills, Mitchell co-founded Workforce Solutions of Tampa Bay, a holistic business development system for obtaining and retaining employment that is targeted to veterans, vocational rehabilitation customers, women and men released from jail and those who are unemployed.

Through her efforts, Mitchell helps citizens gain the skills for becoming highly productive in the workforce which, in turn, helps in the financial growth of local businesses.

But for Mitchell, her efforts are more than just professional – it’s personal. She deeply invests in the success of her clients by providing an atmosphere of support and inspiration.

“I realize one of my greatest strengths is the ability to help clients realize their full potential by focusing on their accomplishments and reflecting on their successes,” said Mitchell. “It is extremely rewarding to know that I had a positive impact on these clients’ lives helping them achieve their future goals.”
